Greatland Community Standards

  • Be positive, build community. Greatland is a place for storytellers to build one another up and support diverse voices.

 

  • Try new things. Storytelling is about evolution and growth. Be bold and brave in exploring your craft.

 

  • First-person stories must be true and rooted in facts to be published on Greatland.

 

  • No politics. Greatland is not a place for you to explain why your political ideology is right. Political rants, opinions, or ideologies will not be published unless they are an essential part of an authentic narrative.

 

  • No slander. Greatland is not a place for you to get back at your ex or tear down your former boss. Defamatory stories or language will not be published.

 

  • No (unnecessary) profanity. This one is tricky. Ask yourself: is it essential to story, character, or moment? Every GL story with profanity will carry an “explicit” warning.
